Correllian Nativist Church International
Background

The Correllian Nativist Tradition of Wicca was officially legally incorporated and granted Federal 501(c)(3) status as

the Correllian Nativist Church International on September 9, 2004

The Founding Directors of the Correllian Nativist Church International Included M. Rev. Don Lewis as Chief Executive Officer and President, Mr. Ed Hubbard as Vice President, and Rt. Rev. Davron Michaels as Chief Financial Officer.

Due to unwillingness to adhere to legal guidelines, conflicts of interest, and persistent financial improprieties, two of our founding Directors, Ed Hubbard and Don Lewis, ultimately ended up resigning in 2005 and 2006 respectively, and have been susequently ex-communicated.

In 2011 the Church changed its name to New Aeon Church International and expanded its focus into an Omnistic church.  The Wiccan Tradition previously known as the Correllian Tradition in now administered as an Order of the Church and is known as the New Aeon Wiccan Tradition.

Our Initiatory system and original lineage structure remain unchanged and ongoing.

In 2012 former Directors Don Lewis and Ed Hubbard incorporated a new church, called "Correllian Nativist Church".

In 2023, after facing issues of financial improprieties and allegations of theft nearly identical to those they faced with the original Church in 2005-2006, they incorporated yet another church, called "Correllian Church".

Please note that under the laws of Illinois, theft from a place of worship is covered by the following two charges:

  • Class 4 felony theft – A Class A misdemeanor theft is elevated to a Class 4 felony theft if the offense occurred in a place of worship or school, the stolen property belonged to the government, or the offender has a previous theft-related conviction on his/her record. A Class 4 felony conviction carries a maximum prison term of three years, a fine of up to $25,000, and victim restitution.

  • Class 2 felony theft – The theft of property worth between $10,000 and $100,000 or $5,000 and stolen from an elder victim. Additionally, a Class 3 felony theft is elevated to a Class 2 felony if the offense occurred in a place of worship or school, the stolen property belonged to the government, the defendant falsely impersonated a landlord to obtain a rent payment or security deposit. A Class 2 felony conviction is punishable by imprisonment for up to seven years, a maximum fine of $25,000, and victim restitution.

While they continue to refer to these churches as "the Correllian Tradition", please note that these are an entirely new churches, and are NOT affiliated with the original Correllian Tradition, now known as the New Aeon Tradition.

Please note that any studies completed, Initiations conducted, Ordinations granted, or titles bestowed by these new churches are NOT transferrable; and NACI cannot be held legally responsible or liable for any of the actions of these new churches,

their Officers, Directors, employees, members, or designees.

Many members rely on their clerical Ordinations in order to perform legal weddings and ceremonies with potential legal ramifications.  Many members and affiliated organizations rely on the advice, legal guidance, and support of the Mother Church.  Many also declare any donations to these churches as charitable donations when filing their income taxes.
